Lovely, friendly staff, very stylish room. No air con, rooms hot. Very very noisey room as over looking busy street and no double glazing. Our room was a good size and really enjoyed our wkend break. Mis leading location of hotel as not overlooking canal as lead to believe by website, definately disapointing for us.
Fantastic! From the outside it looks older but inside it's great. Our room was great (best TV of our trip - when we wanted to relax for a bit). Our room was lacking air conditioning though (top floor of the building and it got HOT). Staff were very friendly and helpful - something we craved after travelling in Italy where they were not. It was very easy to get around...we walked to most places within 1/2 hr. Would definitely stay here again.
There were significant building renovation works going on during our stay which it would have been nice to have been warned about when we booked. Nonetheless it was a good stay and hopefully work is now completed. We upgraded to get a smoking room and had an old style television while our friends in the standard room had flat screen - unusual. Staff were very helpful and location is great. Would stay again.
fabulous !!!! an amazing room in a beautiful hotel in the perfect location breakfast had everything on offer a perfect start to the day under floor heating comfy beds fully equipped bathroom the list goes on and on would definately stay again and again and again !!!
Stayed in august '09. Were offered an upgrade which we took-v reasonable price. Room great, everything we needed-as others have mentioned lovely bath! Great location, if we visit Amsterdam we will definitely look at staying in the same hotel!

The hotel is in the center of Amsterdam close to many coffeshops , restaurants , shops and open markets.we stayed there for 10 days the hotel itself was very clean with friendly and helpful staff. If we go to Amsterdam again we would definatly book at The Albus Grand Hotel. Well done to all the staff keep it up

I stayed for 3 nights.... The room was clean and cozy. The receptionists and other staff were very nice and helpful. If have a chance to visit Amterdam again in the future, I will definitely stay in this hotel.... MN, from Jakarta-Indonesia
The hotel is in prime location...I was able to walk to just about all of my destinations. Rooms were clean/neat and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
