Sustainability

Sustainability
The Albus' purpose is creating 'a sense of bliss' for all their guests. Since we are truly keen on doing that, the principles of sustainability are rooted in and are part of the business. To help deliver great service that we can be proud of. The design of the hotel embraces a variety of green initiatives to take on our social responsibility and reduce energy and water consumption, as well as waste.

Not only do we care about our environment, but also those of children in war areas. That is why we are a big support and sponsor of War Child. By booking the War Child Package you will help the Albus, help War Child, as we’ll double your donation!

Being Green
What does being green mean at the Albus? The ordinary lighting is replaced by energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the entire hotel. Rooms are equipped with rain showers instead of power showers that consume loads of water. Senses restaurant offers quick room service to save on energy-intensive mini-bars. Guests are also participating by requesting less frequently linens changing and using towels twice. Being a 100 percent smoke free ensures a healthy environment for our guests and staff members.

Senses serves unconventional and creative food art with the best of organic and sustainable ingredients where possible and is sourcing local products. This way we also support local products and producers.

We recycle and seperate as much as possible waste and all of our staff participate in a yearly sustainability training. It's also good to know that while you are enjoying your stay with us, you will be doing Mother Nature a favor as we try to reduce any negative effects where possible.

Good for us, even better for our grandchildren!

Green Key
All investments and changes have ensured the Golden Green Key eco label. Carrying this eco label is a recognition for us that sustainability is taken seriously.
