Route and parking

Parking

Coming by car? Unfortunately, we don't have our own parking facilities, but there are several options for parking your car.

  • You can park at Parking Prins & Keizer, located a 2-minute walk from the hotel at Prinsengracht 927. We offer discount vouchers for our guests, allowing you to park for 24 hours for €36. Pick up your discount voucher at the reception when you're ready to retrieve your car. All parking fees must be paid directly at the garage.
  • Alternatively, you can park at the P+R locations just outside the city center for €13 per 24 hours (and even from €6 on weekends). With Metro line 52, you're at the hotel in just 10 minutes. Get off at the Vijzelgracht or Rokin stop, from where it’s about an 8-minute walk. The P+R locations also sell public transport tickets at a discounted rate.
Taxi

Taking a taxi to the Albus from Schiphol is very easy. Choose a 100% green taxi-service! Better price, better for the environment!

When you use Travel Electric, all cars are climate neutral, so you contribute to a more sustainable world! The distance is approximately 15 km to the hotel. Book in advance to be sure you pay the lowest price.

Public transport

Purchase a one-day or multi-day train ticket to travel between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. The ticket is also valid on buses, trams, and the metro. Skip the line and head straight to the train to fully enjoy our capital city.

  • Travel by train and tram. The train station is located under the arrivals hall at Schiphol. Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station, which departs every 10 minutes. From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take Metro 52, Tram 4, or Tram 14, or choose to continue by TCA taxi, which costs around €17.50. With Metro 52, get off at the Rokin stop, from where it’s just a 5-minute walk to The Albus. With Tram 4 or 14, get off at the Rembrandtplein stop, from where it’s also a 5-minute walk to The Albus. Train tickets are available at Schiphol and cost around €6. Tram tickets are available on board the tram, cost €3.20, and can only be paid by card.
  • Another option is to travel by train and metro. The train station is located under the arrivals hall at Schiphol. Take the train to Amsterdam Zuid Station, which departs every 7 minutes. From Amsterdam Zuid, transfer to Metro 52 towards Noord and get off at the Vijzelgracht stop, taking the exit towards “Prinsengracht.” Walk along Vijzelgracht, which becomes Vijzelstraat. The Albus is about a 5-minute walk on your right-hand side.
  • Train tickets are available at Schiphol and cost around €6. Metro tickets are available at Zuid Station and cost €3.20.
