What a welcome
What a welcome. The 2 gentlemen on reception on arrival were absolutely outstanding. What amazing ambassadors for the hotel and Amsterdam. We were away for my wife’s birthday so this made it more special. The hotel was excellent, modern, comfortable and relaxed. Location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in the city and very close to some great restaurants. The room was very clean and well equipped with an excellent bathroom. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for their welcome and kindness during our stay.

4 nights in a fantastic city and hotel.
A pleasant few days in a very good location. The Albus was warm, clean and friendly. Breakfast was good with welcoming staff. We had to cancel due to illness in October and the hotel gave us 6 months to rebook. Fantastic!!! Will return.

Lovely city break hotel
This is a lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. It’s perfectly situated for a city break. Despite being in the centre of the city our room was very quiet. So why not five stars? Well we did think there was a little bit of design over practicality such as very small bedside tables and nowhere to hang towels in an otherwise very nice bathroom. The lighting in the room was desperately dim as too often seems the case in modern hotels. We would have loved a bright overhead light so we could see to pack our cases! I would recommend this hotel for a city break but bring a torch!

Amazing Hotel!!
Amazing as always! Have stayed at The Albus multiple times and it gets better each time. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is just beautiful. Travelled as a couple to celebrate both our birthdays. The room was upgraded and was ready when we arrived in the morning time which was amazing after a very early morning flight and we got a late check out. Can't wait to come back again!!

One night review
Took the Eurostar from Paris for a quick visit.Great location and very kind staff. They offered to hold our backpacks after check out while we walked around town. After we left, they cleaned the room quickly and found items that my daughter had left in the room. Bar drinks were tasty and rooms were large with comfortable beds. We were allowed to check in early and that made a HUGE difference. Will return.

Great time at Amsterdam
I had a great time in Amsterdam and the Albus hotel was great too! Nice staff, tasty food, comfortable bed. The only problem was the poor wifi connection, but it was maybe a problem with my phone. I reccomend the place!

A nice hotel and good central base
The service via WhatsApp is exceptional. Really prompt and efficient. I got immediate answers to every message I sent. We booked a city view triple room but were allocated connecting rooms 305 and 306 which gave us more space but we couldn’t prop the doors open between the rooms which did mean the party was separated which wasn’t ideal. My friend needs a fan during the night and I contacted the hotel in advance to request one and was told they are unable to provide these which was surprising for a boutique hotel and obviously we didn’t want to use the air con to cool the entire room. We decided against adding breakfast on as it seemed expensive at €30 each per day and we ate out locally whilst enjoying the sights much more reasonably. As we booked directly we the hotel we did have a late check out of 2pm but I had to clarify this with the reception desk as this did seem to have been missed. We were also able to extend our check out further for 10€ per hour as our return flight was late at night. The hotel knew we were coming to celebrate 2 of our Birthdays so left us a voucher in the room for 2 complimentary drinks at the bar which was a nice touch. It’s in a good location, about 12 minutes walk from Dam Square and it’s really easy to get around. The staff were helpful and Amsterdam is a great city to visit.
