My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Albus Boutique Hotel. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to most things we wanted to see, and quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in while travelling. Everything just felt easy and welcoming. If we’re back in Amsterdam, we wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. Highly recommended!

We travel a lot, but we have never experienced such a pleasant hotel and flawless service. We stayed here as a group for a whole week, booking 4 rooms in total, and we absolutely loved the beautiful atmosphere. The entire hotel and all rooms were sparkling clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it so easy to sleep and rest well. We also loved the spacious and clean bathrooms. Having a Nespresso machine in the room was a perfect touch for our mornings. One of our friends stayed in the apartment with a balcony facing the courtyard and was extremely satisfied—the kitchen was fully equipped, making them feel right at home. The steep stairs didn't bother us at all, as they are simply a charming part of Amsterdam. The service was top-notch from reception to breakfast. The reception team was extremely helpful, giving us great tips on what to see in the city and how to get there. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety to choose from, but the absolute highlight was the fresh eggs and omelets made to order by the chef. Quick tip for other guests: If you want fresh towels, just leave the used ones on the floor. Thank you for the perfect service and for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel!

I wanted a nice hotel in the center of Amsterdam. This was perfect. The hotel is in walking distance to all the sights. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. As a solo traveller and a woman I felt very safe. I had the breakfast buffet and the staff in the kitchen were so so sweet and happy. I really enjoyed my mornings. The room was nice. Very normal at a nice hotel. Bed was nice as well. I loved that I got a printed folder with recommendations for eating out in the area. Very helpful. Especially because the suggestions were themed after different cuisines and vegetarian options. Overall I would definitely return to The Albus Hotel again!

Could not have chosen a better hotel for our 22 hour layover in Amsterdam. Apartment 1 was on the first floor on a busy street, but was quiet thanks to good double glazing in windows. The apartment was beautifully appointed and squeaky clean. Concierge Victor went above and beyond to assist us - we were travelling from Canada and made a mistake with our arrival time, accidentally booking 2 nights instead of 1, and arriving 12 hours later. We had booked a King Room for 2 nights and we were upgraded to Apartment 1 seeing we had missed one of our nights. So kind. Staff were lovely. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed here couple of days. Housekeeping cleaners were perfect. Always great service and super clean rooms. We loved it here. Great food and service. Rooms are smaller and bigger whenever preference you have. We asked for fridge in the room and extra bathrobes. All was delivered fast. Thanks to cleaning supervisor to help us extra. If you need to turn on air-conditioning card have to be place in the socket. Taxi is better to order from hotel. We enjoyed walking because hotel is literally in city center. Overall I recommend this hotel. Save, super clean and friendly hotel. We will come back soon.

Fantastic hotel right in the middle of Amsterdam's night-life meddle. Between me and my buddies, we had clean cozy rooms and spotless restrooms for the entire week's stay. Plenty of room amenities like coffee, tea, water cooker, towels, even bathroom robe was at hand. Room service was spot-on for getting late-night bites. Even the housekeeping staff was unusually friendly, especially their supervisor, unlike moribund staff in other hotels around the world. Kudos to them! One thing I have to point out is free availability of conference room, where we could plan together outings and reservations. Glory to the reception staff!

Such a great find in Amsterdam. We stay for 3 very comfortable nights and could not fault a thing. From the warm and helpful greeting on our arrival, through to our check out, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and always willing to help or guide up, giving some excellent suggestions and supporting our stay. The rooms were really comfortable with plenty of space and the bed was excellent. In fact the pillows were so good, some of our party sourced them and bought them to bring home (a massive thank you to the staff for helping with this too). The bathroom had everything we needed and the rain shower made for that added luxury. Breakfast was top notch, with a delicious selection of pastries, cereals and meat/cheese and the eggs (freshly made to order by the chef) were just excellent. The hotel is really well located for trams/walking around the city and there’s parking a short walk away if you need it. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we’re in Amsterdam.

The Albus staff welcomed us like family when we arrived. Rooms were spacious and had a comfy bed. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding. One of the best omelets I’ve had in a while. Another great advantage of the Albus is that is within walking distance to nearly everything. There are great restaurants literally just around the corner.
