Great location. Great customer service
This was such a nice and cute little botique. Upon check in we were greeted by the ladies in the front. They offered us coffee/ water while we waited. This place is the perfect location. Everything major is within walking distance. Victor at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. He was nice and friendly and overall a joy to talk to. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hotel clean and centrally located
The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and central location. The nearest tram stop was Rembrandt square where you can catch the no 4 or 14 tram. However you can walk to almost any attraction with 20 mins. The only little grumble I would have was the practically of the room. We stopped in a splendid city room. The room was lovely, well decorated, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only problem was usually I would take a shower first and whilst my husband then used the shower I would dry my hair and do my makeup but all the mirrors and the hairdryer are in the bathroom. So I had to wait, making it longer for us to get ready to go out. I would remove the sofa and add a dressing table and mirror, and a comfy arm chair. It certainly wouldn’t stop me returning to the hotel as everything else was amazing

LOVELY BOUTIQUE HOTEL
LOVELY rooms and such a professional staff! Location is top notch and the rooms are so comfortable. LOVE IT!!!! Also make sure to use the coffee (Kurig?) machine in your room!

Wonderful boutique hotel in the centre of Amsterdam
The Albus Hotel is an absolute gem as are it’s staff. They are all amazing but a special call out to to Raymond and Victor who made us feel so very welcome. The hotel is superbly located, beautifully maintained and has a lovely lobby as well as bar area. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to The Albus for making our stay in Amsterdam so memorable.

Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Amsterdam
The staff at the Albus was wonderful! This small hotel is located in a great spot - close to metro and tram stops in the canal area of Amsterdam. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious (though I could have used more counter/desk/table space for all my stuff!) The hotel was very clean. Not surprising given the age of the buidlings, there are some rooms on a slightly different level (a few steps involved) but the hotel has an elevator for the main floors. We checked out but remained in the area for a few hours. The staff kept our luggage and we returned for breaks during the afternoon. The staff was very solicitous of my husband as I continued to do some shopping and exploring while he remained in the comfortable lobby.

Don't miss out on this gem!
Hotel Albus was such a pleasant surprise, especially for the city center. The lobby is beautifully decorated, has a coffee machine, bar, restaurant (delicious buffet breakfast), and the room was super cute and clean! We had all the amenities we needed. Great location overall, just a couple blocks from Rembrandt Square. The staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful! We were several hours early due to river cruise ending, and they safely held our bags so we could go explore the city. That evening, we asked about extra coffee creamer and hot tea (there's a Nespresso machine in the room), and the Manager kindly filled a cup with various tea bags, creamers, sugar packets, and lemon packets. When we checked out, we had some difficulty finding our Uber (pick-up zone is not in front of hotel due to city restrictions), and the young lady at the front desk offered to walk down the street with us to find our Uber ride; and she did! Those extra gestures were an A+++ for customer satisfaction! I wish I had asked their names, so I could provide the public kudos. Would definitely stay here again.

First trip to Amsterdam and the Albus - would go back to both!!
Location was superb! Very chiled atmopshere and the staff were great! The rooms were spot and cleaned every day. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day. Very quiet in the hotel but the area around the hotel had aload to offer for food, drink and chilling (the square is the Rembrandtplatz and great for trams).

What a welcome
What a welcome. The 2 gentlemen on reception on arrival were absolutely outstanding. What amazing ambassadors for the hotel and Amsterdam. We were away for my wife’s birthday so this made it more special. The hotel was excellent, modern, comfortable and relaxed. Location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in the city and very close to some great restaurants. The room was very clean and well equipped with an excellent bathroom. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for their welcome and kindness during our stay.
