The Albus Hotel Amsterdam City Centre is a luxury 4-star hotel in the center of Amsterdam, close to Rembrandtplein and Muntplein. For our enthusiastic housekeeping team, we are looking for a careful and motivated:

Housekeeping Employee
Zero-hours contract | Amsterdam

As a Housekeeping Employee, you will ensure that our hotel rooms and public areas look clean, well-maintained, and welcoming every day. Thanks to your efforts, our guests can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Your responsibilities

  • Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms according to The Albus's quality standards.
  • Changing bed linen and replenishing towels and guest amenities.
  • Cleaning bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other surfaces.
  • Identifying and reporting technical issues or missing inventory.
  • Keeping public areas clean and well-presented.
  • Handling cleaning products, materials, and guests' belongings with care.
  • Working together with colleagues from housekeeping, reception, and other hotel departments.
  • Contributing to a pleasant experience for every guest.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are enthusiastic, reliable, and work accurately.
  • You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of hygiene and presentation.
  • You can work independently but are also a cooperative team player.
  • You are physically able to perform cleaning duties.
  • You are flexible and available to work weekends and public holidays as well.
  • Experience in housekeeping is an advantage but is not required.
  • You preferably speak Dutch or English.

Working hours

The work is mainly carried out during the daytime. Since the workload can vary from day to day, your working hours will be coordinated based on hotel occupancy and your availability.
