Housekeeping Supervisor Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Supervisor - Housekeeping to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
  • Train and mentor new housekeeping employees.
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas.
  • Address and resolve guest or client concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as necessary.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety regulations.
  • Physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties as needed.
