We had a fabulous stay at the Albus excellent service with plenty of information given to us which we needed , cabs were booked for us perfectly. The hotel itself was in a great spot with bars and restaurants all in close proximity aswel very friendly staff.

Fabulous breakfast with an extensive choice. All staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Couldn't fault anything. Great location for sight seeing on foot, but also close to train and metro stations. 24 hour reception meant that there was always someone at hand if need be.

The hotel gave us great recommendations on restaurants. Using what’s app to communicate was great. They were responsive in minutes . Room was clean and comfortable. Great li action close to Rembrandt square . Senses restaurant on site we did a 4 course menu and was perfection. We are vegetarian and they accommodated us easily.

Great central location, close to two metro stations. Lovely warm welcome, with a glass of fizz. Helpful reception staff. Nice room and very comfy beds. Walk-in shower with lovely toiletries regularly replenished. Good buffet breakfast every morning.

We stayed at the Albus for 3 nights and the hotel was perfect! Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooked the main road, and a glimpse of one of the many canals. The room was clean, bright, well decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was huge and super comfy and the rain shower in the bathroom was great. We’d told the hotel we were visiting Amsterdam for our wedding anniversary and we really appreciated the little extras in our room. The hotel is right on one of the main canal rings and getting around was easy. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel or a 2 minute walk to one of the main tram stops. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, but also nice and quiet and felt very safe in the area. The loveliest thing about the hotel were the staff. Super friendly and very helpful.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Albus. We arrived very early in the morning and our room was ready for us at no extra charge! Every staff member at the reception desk was incredibly helpful from providing restaurant recommendations, walking directions, and booking taxis. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The central location of The Albus was another plus. We would happily stay here again.

We found the Albus centrally located within 15 minute walks to Dam Square, Museums. Hardrock Cafe, Markets, and shopping. Staff was accommodating and knowledgeable providing guidance where to find those little things you forgot at home ! Our room faced a main street but was quiet.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help you in any way. If we return to Amsterdam we would stay here again and also recommend it to others. The rooms were nice and comfortable. We also liked there was a daily breakfast

Excellent position with very friendly helpful staff. Some rooms are quite bijou and would benefit from additional shelving for toiletries in bathroom. A problem with a leak was resolved so efficiently that my sister was in a new room in less than half an hour of reporting the leak, with all belongings transferred, despite it being nearly midnight. Thank you especially to the night manager resolving this episode and to all the other staff for excellent customer service. It also benefits from an excellent Michelin restaurant for that special occasion. Highly recommend this hotel.
