Worth paying a little extra to stay here
Lovely, enthusiastic welcome, with Prosecco and a nice chat to see if they could help us within the hotel, or what we may do in Amsterdam. Our room was pleasant, clean and warm, best to fall though; quiet! Given its locale and the tram stop right outside the hotel, it is blissfully serene

Great location, friendly staff - the perfect accommodation in Amsterdam
The Albus hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city surrounded by the beautiful canals of Amsterdam. It is easily reachable via public transport (tram) and all main attractions are within walking distance. The staff at the property are very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in through the door. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfy! This is a gem in Amsterdam and I will definitely be returning to the Albus for my next trip to the lovely Amsterdam! Tip: Book with them directly on their website to get a free late check out and a glass of cava up on arrival!

Fantastic stay!
My boyfriend and I did the bubbles and bubbles package and everything was 10/10. Our highlight was Senses restaurant (an experience) and the welcoming and helpful staff. We most definitely recommend staying here!

Our experience at the Albus Hotel was fantastic from start to finish, The staff were very very helpful and friendly always smiling and asking ourselves if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The hotel is in a very good position and is immaculate inside the room and outside. The room for Amsterdam was also a good size, the only thing that we would of liked was a kettle a some tea & biscuits but on request this was quickly brought to our room. Sometimes it is difficult when travelling to a new city to find a nice Hotel but look no further than the Albus.

Raymond was my savior!
When I found out I tested positive for Covid and had to check out, Raymond and staff able to extend my stay an additional 2 weeks. He was super accomodating and made sure all my needs were taken care of. He even brought up a small refrigerator as my room originally didn't have one. He made sure everything was taken care of. I was so touched by his kindness I gave him a 100 ear tip as he more than deserved it. The rest of the staff were very good as well. My stay was pleasant and comfortable. Just to reiterate, there should be more people like Raymond in this world. Thanks.

Stay and dine in style
Great stay and outstanding diner experience. Me and my wife had diner at Senses which was fantastic and afterwards we stayed in a great room. Bed is simply impeccable and breakfast in the morning was superb as well. Stay is also very welcoming.

Fantastic hotel
We had the pleasure of staying in The Albus recently. We took an absolute chance with this and it really paid off. Great hotel, location was perfect and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in our next trip. Well done to all at The Albus!

Perfect 3 nights
We spent 3 nights in the Albus hotel in the heart of Amsterdam and it was awesome. Our room was great, with a perfect bed (we slept so well we would love to know the brand of the mattress!) and we had an awesome stay. The breakfast, served in the restaurant The Senses, is yummy as well. You have starters and then you can chose between 4 meals (waffle, pancakes, croque-madame and I forgot the last one...). Really, we had a nice stay in Amsterdam mostly because we could visit the city by feet.

the Albus I only discovered recently but every stay since has been excellent. the location is perfect, in the middle of the centre with tram stop 24 literally in front of the door. the staff is very helpful and genuinely friendly without the usual hotel cliché attitude. rooms are comfortable and I especially like their studios. still need to try the restaurant but breakfast is good as is the bar.
