My husband and I were at The Albus for three days and had the best experience! From the Front Desk staff, to the Bartender, to the Wait staff, everything was perfect. They made us feel comfortable, like family, and important...like we were the only guest that were at the hotel. If ever we are in Amsterdam again, this will be the place we stay!

Me and my partner stayed here at the start of January just after new years, we had seen a few reviews about the location being good as we was nervous travellers this was perfect for us! The location of the hotel was great, located about a ten min walk from the red light district and in the opposite direction was the Heineken Experience. Dam square was also within a walking distance and Rokin metro station was a short distance away from the hotel

The Albus is located in the heart of Amsterdam, 15 minutes walk from the central station, 15 minutes from the Van Gogh museum, and right next to some of the best shopping streets in the city. It is ideally located for everything Amsterdam has to offer. The hotel is stylish, colourful, and relaxed, with excellent facilities, a lovely breakfast on offer and an amazing onsite restaurant, ‘Senses’. But the style comes with a lot of substance too. Standards of service are incredibly high, with staff who are attentive and friendly. They always offer help and expertise to make your stay in the city better, whether it is a list of great restaurants or advice on the best bars, they are always ready to help. Our room was very comfortable, nice and warm and thoroughly cleaned and kept tidy during our stay. The public areas of the hotel are well-maintained and relaxing. We will always book the Albus whenever we return to Amsterdam,because they provided a lovely, relaxing experience, made us feel very welcome, and gave us the feeling that we were staying somewhere special. Thanks, we can’t wait to come back.

The Albus was the perfect hotel for our family holiday to Amsterdam. It’s ideally located such that many site seeing attractions are in walking distance, there’s no shortage of great food options nearby, and more shopping opportunities than you could ask for. Most importantly, the staff at the hotel is the friendliest and most helpful folks in town. Raymond in particular was the best! 10/10 would recommend. When we come back this will be our hotel of choice.

I can’t remember how many times I’ve stayed here now! But I can say it’s the best hotel in Amsterdam. If they’re available, book one of the studio apartments. They are amazing. Incredible staff who are there to help every step of the way. Not to be missed

Rally nice hotel in ideal central location. Room is small but has everything you need. Very comfy bed and quiet hotel. Hotel has what’s app service which is great for contacting reception if needed. Can pre check in online to save time as well before arrival.

Located centrally near Rembrandt Square. Lovely small place. Comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Near the action so outside can be a bit noisy well into the night. I would surely stay again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Albus. Hotel very centrally located, we managed to do all our sightseeing on foot, but did use taxis in the evening (Taxis ordered through the hotel can stop outside, but UBER have to stop just down the road) we didn’t use public transport, but the area seemed well served. Reception staff at the hotel were absolutely superb, so eager to help and very knowledgeable. The room was clean, with good storage, toiletries & coffee machine, small bar in reception area which was very pleasant also a small but nice lounge area. The hotel has a very well rated restaurant, but we had already made reservations elsewhere, there are loads of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great stay, we would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Amsterdam.

The guest team is great, the rooms are very clean with comfy beds and pillows, the breakfast is really good. The hotel is perfectly situated in the center, at walking distance from many interesting places. Nearby do not miss the Tuschinski Theater (absolutely wonderful !).
