We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Albus. Hotel very centrally located, we managed to do all our sightseeing on foot, but did use taxis in the evening (Taxis ordered through the hotel can stop outside, but UBER have to stop just down the road) we didn’t use public transport, but the area seemed well served. Reception staff at the hotel were absolutely superb, so eager to help and very knowledgeable. The room was clean, with good storage, toiletries & coffee machine, small bar in reception area which was very pleasant also a small but nice lounge area. The hotel has a very well rated restaurant, but we had already made reservations elsewhere, there are loads of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great stay, we would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Amsterdam.

The guest team is great, the rooms are very clean with comfy beds and pillows, the breakfast is really good. The hotel is perfectly situated in the center, at walking distance from many interesting places. Nearby do not miss the Tuschinski Theater (absolutely wonderful !).

Lovely weekend break at my favorite hotel in Amsterdam I recently took my wife for a weekend break. The Alvus again did not disappoint at all. The staff was very welcoming and upon arrival we got a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. We got a nice room at the back of the hotel overlooking some nice gardens.

My first time visiting Amsterdam with my Daughter and she couldn't of chosen a better Hotel for us. Lovely Welcome and drink from the amazing front of house staff. Nice comfortable,spotless bedroom overlooking the road. Bedding was lovely. Perfect location and coffee machine in reception with take out cups which came in useful. We would definitely stay again and hope to visit soon. The staff really do make this Hotel. Thanks to everyone for a lovely time. 5 ☆ from us

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone I Know.The staff go the extra mile with the small touches that make the difference!. The hotel has balconies which we always opt for whilst in Amsterdam, the beds are comfy and location is spot on. Bars and restaurants are on the doorstep and the tram is a 2 min walk through Rambrandt square... Great Hotel, clean, modern and worth a visit!

The Albus Hotel in Amsterdam was a fantastic family-friendly stay! With our two boys, ages 6 and 8, we found it ideal. The staff was welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and stylish. The central location made it easy to explore Amsterdam’s top spots. The kids loved the little extras, and we appreciated the attention to detail and warmth. Highly recommend for families!

Excellent location, Close to Dam square a minute from the flower market in the entertainment center, at the same time you don't hear any noise, the hotel staff is ready to give a personal answer in every way, the rooms are small but very clean.
