The perfect gem
They upgraded us from a city room to an apartment. The room was beautiful and huge with a full kitchen and laundry. Perfect location we could really walk everywhere in less than 30 min. There are some steep stairs to the apartment, but they took our bags to the room for us so it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Service was excellent and I would highly recommend getting the breakfast included. If you are vegan or gluten free this is a perfect option too. We also had dinner at Senses and it was a real experience. Unique dishes and the chef gave us a tour of their kitchen.

Great hotel with fantastic staff
First time staying in this hotel and have to say that it was a great experience. Aside from the complementary room upgrade, the main highlight was the attentive staff. Everyone I had contact with were very polite and informative, providing some invaluable tips on places to visit and making my stay all the better. (The upgraded room was a real pleasure after my travel delays in getting to Amsterdam). I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The hotel itself is in an ideal location and within walking distance for the places we visited.

Great location, for us. Great staff. Clean and well maintained room (standard queen). Good sizes room. Raymon on reception was brilliant and Daniel also super friendly. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!
We stayed here for a long weekend in April over Kings day, and the hotel was fab. Reception staff very happy to help with booking trips or giving you directions. On arrival we were early but were given two complimentary drinks we were offered our choice of rooms and our new were kept in storage whilst until we could check in. Breakfast was lovely all freshly cooked and plenty of choice. You did have to wait sometimes for eggs etc because there is only a very small area for them to cook in so you understand. The hotel give you a leaflet which talks about attractions and restaurants we used this for all our restaurant options and were very impressed so please do use this to your advantage. Kings day was very good but “a lot” and at sometimes felt extremely crowded the hotel on that day locked the doors and were very good at letting you in asap as to keep the crowds out! I would highly recommend we didn’t spend long in the hotel but it was perfect for our needs.

WONDERFUL STAY!
What a LOVELY stay! We booked the family suite and it was fantastic. Clean, spacious, and affordable! The real highlight was the front desk staff. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. We can't thank them enough for making sure we had a wonderful time at the hotel and in the city!

The Albus is the place to stay in Amsterdam!
I was impressed with The Albus from the time I first set foot in its door to my departure. All persons with whom I dealt/received assistance from were courteous, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located, and is boutique and stylish within its artistic presentation. My room was very comfortable in all aspects; from bedding, to the ensuite, to ventilation/air conditioning. The provided coffee machine was appreciated. I highly recommend The Albus and would definitely stay there when I next journey to Amsterdam.

Great Location, Clean, A/C, Friendly Staff and Convenient Parking
First, the location was perfect. Close enough to all the action but far enough away from all the noise of the action. Parking was close and only a short walk away. A/C in the rooms was the best part along with all the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable! Would definitely stay there again!

Albus with our 13yr old grandson.
The hotel was in a great location. 1 block from the flower market and Rembrandt Park. It was older and small, but perfect for the three of us. Close to lots of restaurants. Our room had a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the cool breezes in the evening.
