First, the location was perfect. Close enough to all the action but far enough away from all the noise of the action. Parking was close and only a short walk away. A/C in the rooms was the best part along with all the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable! Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent hotel, great location and lovely welcoming staff. There was an issue with my reservation as Expedia said I would pay on arrival in full but the hotel has a policy to take the 1st nights payment the day before. The receptionist, unfortunately I didn’t get his name ( was working evening 2nd -Aug) could not have been more helpful and really turned this around. He didn’t everything possible to redeem this miscommunication and was so charming and helpful. He is an asset to the hotel and ensured I had a superb stay. It’s my second time at The Albus and I’ll be back again next year.

We stayed for 5 days (2 adults/2children) and it was wonderful. On arrival they stored our bags while we waited for our room to be ready and explored. The room was spotless with everything we needed and plenty of space/storage. The beds were huge with plenty of pillows and very comfortable. The staff were helpful, telling us lovely places to visit on the map, places to eat & where to hire bikes. It is perfectly located, we walked everywhere, it is also close to the tram. The local area is stunning, close to the Amstel River with lots of great restaurants and bars to chill in the evening with a drink. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it. :)

The hotel is located in a very central place of Amsterdam, within walking distance to many important points. Our room was very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We would prefer to stay there again in our next trip to Amsterdam.

After the debacle of the airlines on on 19th July, my transition flight got cancelled so I was forced to stay the night in Amsterdam, I managed to book in The Albus hotel as it was pretty central, the location is absolutely perfect if you want to walk to the city centre, not too far from the Central Station either. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I went for a walk and found all the amenities quite near by. Would highly recommend it.

Just come back from the albus hotel Amsterdam. This is my 3rd time to stay at the hotel. Although it's been many years since the last time i am happy to say that the hotel is still up to the high standards that it had before. The hotel is in a great location right in the middle of the city next to all the main tourist attractions. The staff are all super nice and helpful. I must especially mention all the reception staff at the front desk who were so friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were kept very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had very good hot water in it. Will use the hotel again when i am in the wonderful city of Amsterdam.

My husband and I stayed at The Albus while traveling in Amsterdam. Lovely hotel, great accommodating staff, and in the center of the city. We walked everywhere, and enjoyed the surroundings, the restaurants and the scenery. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there and wishing to see the city.

We enjoyed everything the Albus has. The rooms are quite new, loved the bed and the bathroom. The attention from the staff is outstanding, and the location is perfect to see the city and visit its highlights. There are elevators, great for our long trip luggage.

The hotel is very cozy, quiet and clean. The staff is super friendly. Restaurant and bar available at the location, and the room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great, right in the middle of everything and walkable distance from shopping and dinning.
