My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Albus. The location and amenities are fantastic. Walking distance to everything in city center and the major museums. Excellent service from all the staff. Wish that we had more time to spend and the Albus!

The hotel is located ideally, the room was very convenient, and the staff were superb. Very helpful and kind. I arrived at 10 AM, thought the check-in started at 3 PM, and since there was a room ready, they checked me in, and I'm grateful for that.

Very happy with the clean, warm room, excellent facilities and the friendly helpful staff. Central location , close to all the main tourist attractions. Tram stop outside hotel, numerous varied restaurants close by. Highly recommend The Albus for a visit to Amsterdam.

The Albus is my go-to hotel in Amsterdam. It is easily accessible from Central station by walking or tram in a busy area with lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel welcome and make recommendations.

The Albus is a really lovely and chic boutique hotel very centrally located, and in fact right across from Amsterdam's main strip of gay bars. The lobby is really charming with an amazing 24-7 espresso/cappuccino maker, not to mention a smaller one in the room. There is also a bar and restaurant in the lobby. The young, diverse staff were amazing with their warm words and recommendations. It's a stylish hotel, but not fussily so. The room was great - quiet, great bed, great linens, great walk-in shower. And good value too.

We had a great stay there. The hotel is clean. The staff is very polite. It's location is walking distance to everything in the centre. Has fast WiFi. The rooms are cozy and well designed. Overall, would go again!

My husband and I stayed here at the tail end of our 3-week European honeymoon and it was easily the best place we stayed our entire trip. Our room was one of the Spacious City Suites and it was everything we needed and more. The room was clean, comfortable, and of course spacious! It was one of the few rooms with a tub in the bathroom and after a long day of Amsterdam walking, I was so grateful we had it! The staff were great too! Very friendly and helpful! When we arrived, I was out of breath from lugging our luggage there and was immediately offered water. A thoughtful gesture that was really appreciated and it echoed the attention to detail we felt throughout our stay. Thanks so much for the great stay! Can't wait to come back for our anniversary!

I chose the Albus to stay in Amsterdam with my husband. Great location in the heart of Amsterdam. We were very tired from the road, but we were lucky and the room was ready much sooner than we expected. The guy at reception was professional in his work, answered and advised all our questions. Breakfast. Not a big choice of food but very high quality, nice restaurant interior and Staff very friendly. After we were waiting for a cab to go to the museum, in the morning it was raining heavily and our Uber canceled the trip, we thought we would be late, but luckily the staff at the reception is really not indifferent and quickly called us a new cab. Cleanliness. The room smelled very nice, that was my first impression. Everything was clean. There was a problem with the hot water on the first day, but we had it fixed very quickly. Location. The hotel is located in the very center of Amsterdam. All the sights are within walking distance. Very many good restaurants nearby. Really wanted to visit Senses restaurant but it was full. On our last morning our safe would not open but we needed to go to the airport urgently, the girl at the front desk, Kyma, solved the issue quickly. We were very worried that we would miss our flight but she reassured us with her bright smile and was able to open the safe. I think this hotel is one of the few that can sincerely welcome you with bright smiles and leave unforgettable impressions with the quality of service! It's been two weeks now and I'm still writing this review with a smile on my face.
