Perfect vacation
The location was ideal, the rooms a really good size, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were really friendly .The Albus is easily accessible by public transport. Take tram 24 to central train station or to “Dam”where all the shopping is happening. You can have a lovely walk in the evening through canal to shopping areas without taking a tram because it’s a very short distance. Breakfast is good chef is very friendly. Special note of appreciation to the front office team and the manager Trevo.

Best place in the city
What an unique experience. Love this place. Staffs are the best I have ever met. Have been all over the world this is one of the best place to stay for a city trip. I highly recommend. Great breakfast and rooms are well designed. Hotel is called a design hotel. It’s so true.

Excellent hotel in great location
We have just returned from a four night stay in this hotel. We have no complaints at all. Even before we arrived they were helpful in answering a couple of questions before our visit. We arrived early for check in our room wasn’t ready but the lady who checked us in was very helpful and stored our luggage for us. She gave us a map of the city and highlighted key places to visit and areas for good restaurants. They rang to advise us when our room was ready. When we returned to access our room they had already placed our luggage in the room. And they had also placed a bottle of fizz in our room for our wedding anniversary which was very kind. The location of the hotel is great within walking distance of Dam Square and all the attractions. We were able to go everywhere by foot. There were a good selections of bars and restaurants all around the hotel. If you turn left there are some especially good ones about five minutes away which are less touristy. The hotel was immaculate and our room (King size city view) was a really good size. There was a lift. Even though the hotel was in a central location it was very quiet and we were not disturbed at all. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped with toiletries and a the hairdryer worked well. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay in the Albus again.

Beautiful hotel
Great hotel, clean and close to amenities, museums and restaurants. The rooms were a very reasonable size, impeccable sheets and towels, modern design. We were given prosecco at check-in and felt welcomed straight away. Best place to book when in Amsterdam!

A great stay as always in the heart of Amsterdam!
As always great to stay at the Albus! I spent a few days last week at the Albus again. My room was spacious and had a nice balcony with overlooking the inner courtyards. The bed was great. Breakfast as usual was perfectly organized and very tasteful.

Fantastic Find in the best part of Amsterdam
A quirky boutique hotel with brilliant staff (thank you Raymond and everyone else) and well appointed rooms. No request is to much trouble ( even when I made a cheeky request for a balcony when booking online) to getting extra glasses and a ice bucket so we could enjoy gouda cheese and a local wine on our balcony. Amazing stay in the city center!
Amazing stay in the Albus hotel, location, staff, clean, atmosphere, spacious rooms and their breakfast was the perfect way to start our day! We will definitely come back again with our next city trip to Amsterdam! Also I highly recommend their Senses Restaurant, wow it was amazing!

My husband’s passport was stolen on a Friday evening, we could not leave Amsterdam until we went to the US consulate on Monday morning, The Albus hotel upgraded us to a suite, gave us free Heineken beer and did not charge us. The staff were so friendly and helpful but most of all were kind to us Americans when we needed it most. The hotel also provided us with breakfast. Very clean also

Perfect Hotel
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Albus Hotel. We are a family of 4 with two young children and this was the perfect hotel for us. The location was ideal, the rooms a really good size, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help. Nothing was too much trouble and they made a real effort with our sons. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and would definitely recommend.
