The staff is lovely, answered and helped with every request and question, especially I would mention Daniel with whom I consulted, he helped me, was patient and gave a helpful answer. Stayed here for 6 nights during late March 2024. This is a modern hotel in a fantastic location. A few steps from the flower market and Munt Tower. A short walk away from Rembrandtplein, wherefrom one can catch Tram 4 and 14 to go to the Central Station and various tourist attractions. Numerous restaurants within easy walking distance and there is a convenience store which stays open late just across the road. Please note that the road in front has tram lines but as of now no trams are running on this route. Like the rest of the hotel our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Room size was decent and bathroom quite large with a specious shower cubicle. Bed was super comfortable. Room came with coffee arrangements, safe and TV. Upon request, the staff provided tea facility also. Bathroom had all the necessary toiletries. Tea, coffee, toiletries all got replenished regularly. Wi-fi worked perfectly and although the hotel has only one elevator, we didn't have to wait for too long. Breakfast gets served at the attached Senses restaurant and was quite good with a lot of choices. Unfortunately I found the layout bit confusing and didn't appreciate the way fried eggs were kept over one another. The mostly young staffs were all very polite and helpful. They tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Although some renovation work was still ongoing during our stay, we didn't face any difficulties. We did face one difficulty during our stay, no place to keep body wash or shampoo bottles inside the shower cubicle. The reception staff told us after a few reminders that they have ran out of the tray which is supposed to be fixed there. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed our stay and do recommend this hotel.

A friend of ours recommended the Albus for our first time in Amsterdam. We are extremely pleased with our stay. Room was clean, staff are helpful and friendly. We weren’t sure what to expect, but as sooon as we walked in we knew we were going to like it. We will stay here again.
